How to get sailing in Survivalists

Exploration is important in The Survivalists. The raft is unlocking rapidly with a pop-up window telling you that you must venture beyond the departure island. The raft is easy to build. It is made from cheap supplies and materials. All this can be found throughout the island.

The raft is useless alone. The excitement leading to the raft is immediately lost when you can not do anything with it. The raft, for as easy access and construction, needs sailing. The sail, meanwhile, is not unlocked as early and is close to the end of one of the branches of manufacturing trees.

To get the sail, you must go through the cover and the sheet. You start with the basic model you can build by hand. Upper level covers must be manufactured on a workstation. Once you unlock the fur items, you will manufacture a fur mat, then the luxury bed sheet. The sail will unlock after doing the luxury bed sheets.

It is a strange choice to place the sail so far from the raft in the manufacturing tree, even if the materials make sense. This makes early unlocking of the narrow raft because it can not be used until the sail is added.
